Veterans Day Ceremony at Chesapeake City Hall

More than 350 people turned out at 11:00 am on November 11, 2012 at Chesapeake City Hall to honor those who serve and have served in the United States Armed Forces.   The ceremony was held in front of City Hall in dazzling bright sunshine.  Keynote speaker was Col. Scott Fosdal, USMC. Fosdal in the Chief of Staff for the Joint Staff’s Command, Control, Communications and Computers/Cyber division in Norfolk, Va.

After remarks by Mayor Alan Krasnoff and Col. Fosdal there were presentations of memorial plaques. The presentations were followed by the playing of the Armed Forces Service Medley by the Hugo Owens Middle School Orchestra.  The program ended by
