Chesapeake Rotarians were honored to host Chesapeake native, Rosemary Willis, the reigning Miss Virginia at a recent luncheon.    Willis spoke on her personal platform issue, “Get Moving Today for a Healthier Tomorrow.” She said studies show that children who exercise regularly do better in school, have higher self-esteem, maintain healthy muscles, bones, and weight, and are more involved in their communities.  Willis will travel to Las Vegas, Nevada in early January 2013 to compete in the Miss America pageant.  Willis is a graduate of Indian River High School.  She is the daughter of Judge  and Mrs. Larry Willis.
